Why "Poison Only" Fails
Traps + sealing + sanitation. In that order.
Poison bait stations are a band-aid. In Louisiana's warm, humid climate, rats reproduce year-round and can squeeze through a gap the size of a quarter. Kill a few and dozens more move in through the same holes. The only lasting fix is trapping active rodents, sealing every entry with steel and mortar, then sanitizing contaminated areas.
Our Process
- Inspection with thermal and moisture meters — no guessing
- Snap-trap and multi-catch stations placed on active runs
- Every gap ¼-inch or larger sealed with hardware cloth, copper mesh, and mortar
- Attic and crawlspace sanitation, contaminated insulation removed if needed
- Optional exterior monitoring stations, tamper-proof and pet-safe
- Written warranty on all sealed exclusions
Common Signs
- Scratching or scurrying in walls and ceilings at night or during the day
- Droppings in cabinets, drawers, or the attic
- Gnaw marks on baseboards, food packaging, or wires
- Musky ammonia smell
- Grease trails along baseboards and roof lines
